It wouldnt be a complete Piano Collections album without a proper jazz arrangement and Lancer stood out as the clear choice. I took a cue from the jazzier arrangements of Shiro Hamiguchi (Swing de Chocobo in the FFVII Collection, for example) as well as the Ashes of Dreams arrangement on Piano Collections NieR Gestalt and Replicant. My goal was to write in such a way that it sounds full and fleshed out while not actually being all that busy or complex. The result is what I think may be one of the easiest to play, despite sounding so rich, though getting the style just right may be difficult.
