The overlapping lines, changing meters and little repeated snatches make this piece fun to work on and hopefully will raise a smile from your audience and players, even though it may be a slightly bemused one. Scored for massive symphonic band, it is sensitively cross-cued throughout to allow smaller ensembles to enjoy it as well.
