Product Description

Scored for two Altos, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones. There are alternative parts for Altos 3 and 4 so it can be performed by four Alto Saxophones. This is very useful for teachers of groups of like instruments.
Dark Eyes, sometimes known as Black Eyes, has its roots in both The Ukraine and in Russia. Although it was originally known as a Russian- Romani folksong, at the beginning of the Twentieth Century, it achieved a much wider international reputation when Italian-born British composer, Adalgiso Ferraris, published a new version in 1910. It was also later sung and recorded by Al Bowlly in 1939. It has also gained some currency as a jazz tune.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
