Product Description

This organ/piano duet was written for the dedication of the Rodger's C505 organ at Calvary Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI (Herbert Ave.) It consists of a Theme, Meditation, and Finale. The Meditation uses the harmonic pattern of Pachelbel's Canon in D. and superimposes Ein Feste Burg over the top of it. The Finale closely follows and mirrors the text of stanza four in The Lutheran Hymnal. These pieces use the metric version of the tune that is most commonly used today.  [The price covers the two copies that you will need to play this piece.  There is no need to purchase a second copy.]
