There are countless arrangements of The Star-Spangled Banner, and most of them sound pretty similar. I decided to take the simple melody and harmonize it in the most unique way I could. The piece is filled with lots of interesting contemporary-style harmonies but is still easily recognizable as the famous American National Anthem (and even follows all the rules of four-part writing!).
