Original aria is part of popular operetta Die Fledermaus". The
role of Orlofsky is a trouser role, usually performed by a mezzo-soprano,
sometimes by a countertenor and occasionally--an octive lower--by a full tenor.
It's great for New Year's recital, or some similar occasions.
