"You Raise Me Up", originally composed in 2002 before being performed and popularized by Josh Groban a year later, is one of those songs that once you hear it, you can't get it out of your head. It's a very popular piece and has become a staple in many different contemporary religious services. This arrangement follows the version as sung by Josh Groban. The keys (E-flat major, F major, G-flat major) help the piece build towards the powerful last chorus before bringing resolving to a soft ending. This is definitely an audience-pleasing piece to perform. The piece is a Quartet+. It includes four standard C flute parts, but can add two extra parts (Alto Flute and Bass Flute) to expand to a full six parts.
