Product Description

"THE WORLD REVOLVING" offers a completely new experience for DELTARUNE fans and pianists alike. This arrangement, from the DELTARUNE Piano Collections: Vol.1 by Materia Music Inc., is elegantly re-imagined by the amazing Trevor Alan Gomes. Illustrations by Nise. Music and game by the one and only Toby Fox.

From the Arranger,
THE WORLD REVOLVING is one of the more iconic tracks from the Deltarune games and with its frenetic energy is maybe one of the hardest to represent faithfully on piano. The oompah is strong with this one and could easily become completely exhausting for the player if it were translated literally into something like a stride piano left hand, so instead I opted for accompaniment patterns that keep the busy rhythm going while doing something a bit more pianistic with it.

I did one thing in this arrangement that I dont know I ever have before - the development section sort of never gets off the runway, entirely by design. Just as it seems to be launching into my usual harmonic exploration and such, it abruptly veers back into the original tune, but more ferociously than ever before taking us to the end. After so many tracks on so many albums where Ive done elaborate developments, it occurred to me that one of the most surprising and unexpected things I could do was cut one short with a sort of jerky pivot back to the source material. This came with the added benefit of varying the track lengths of the album more, as they had been skewing very much toward the long side of things.
