An arrangement for mixed reed quintet (soprano saxophone, Bb clarinet, cor anglais, bass clarinet or basset horn, bassoon) of the motet "Salvator mundi" by English composer Thomas Tallis (c.1505-1585). This is the first of several settings that Tallis made of this Latin text. The piece contains some interesting harmonies and dissonances typical of music of the Renaissance period. The set comprises full score and parts, including an alternative part for basset horn instead of bass clarinet. Difficulty level : Intermediate/Advanced.
