Product Description

"Creation" from The Continental Harmony is perhaps the best known work of William Billings. This adventurous fuging tune combines text from two different hymns to tell a striking story. The homophonic first half is but a warmup to the complex imitations of the second half. Originally written for a four-part choir (a cappella), this arrangement reduces the music for an SAB choir with piano accompaniment to make it more accessible.
