The seventh piece from the set of intermediate piano preludes.

From the moment I heard Bizet's "Habanera" from his opera "Carmen" I fell in love with it, so not surprisingly I used his rhythm from the aria as the basis for this little prelude. However, while the habanera rhythm is in 2/4 or 6/8, I decided to turn it into a waltz.
