Product Description
Jesus loves everyone (The Mirror Song) is a fun and catchy tune that children really love to sing! I wrote it in 2006 when I was teaching Christian Religious Education in primary (elementary) schools in Gippsland, Australia. It was heartwarming to overhear children singing it while they were in the playground. This song, also sub-titled, "The Mirror Song" conveys an important message that Jesus loves me. When they look in a mirror, the face looking back at them is special and they are loved. The song also presents that it's not only 'ME" who is loved, but YOU, too, and actually, EVERYONE! Children also love the slight tongue twister, "ifs, ands or buts" in verse three. In a Children's Ministries setting, it is fun to pass around a mirror while children sing this song, and the lyrics lend themselves to easy actions, too. Beware, this song may become an 'ear worm'!
"Jesus loves everyone" is written in C major with easy chords so that guitarists with basic skills (leaders or children) can play along. Keyboardists with a basic knowledge of chords will easily play along, too.
