The seven instruments are divided into fundamental characters, namely, The Sleuth (alto sax); The Client (piano); The Cop (trumpet); The Judge (bass); The Mark (tenor sax); The Decoy (drums); The Bystander (guitar). The theme moves through a familiar structure of a crime/detective story, namely, The City (location); The Sleuth (maybe at their office); The Client enters (the problem is revealed); The Waiting Game (gathering information or a stakeout); The Tail (the target or mark is spotted - solos); The Chase (drum shouts); finally, The Capture (either by the camera or the cop). This piece is a perfect concert, theater/dance or test piece that is effective without being too challenging. You will enjoy it!
