Product Description

The Bassoon Concerto by Mozart now arranged for bassoon quartet and solo bassoon!

Mozart's Bassoon Concerto KV 191 is one of the most important pieces ever written for bassoon. Consisting of three movements (Allegro, Andante ma adagio, Rondo) it valorizes all the lyrical possibilitie of the bassoon.

This arrangement brings the original orchestral score to a 4-parts reduction, where the main aim is to resemble as close as possilbe the original composition while always being mindful of the instrument's possibilities and limitations. The parts result therefore pleasurable and functional to play.

Full score and complete parts included.
The solo bassoon part is not included. It is however shown in the score.

The reference score of the original work used in this arrangement (regarding notes, articulations and expressive marks) is the NMA edition.
