I wrote this piece with the early string orchestra in mind at the 2nd to 3rd year level ability. I doubled the 2nd violin with the viola, and the cello with the bass. This was done to accomodate string ensembles that might have incomplete instrumentation while still allowing at the parts to be covered. Written in the easy key of G major throughtout. Care should be taken to interpret all of the articulations as indicated. Thank you!
