Product Description

This is the fourth of a set of six Duettos opus 2. All have 3 movements and the style is clearly  moving on from Baroque to early Classical. Allegro, Affetuoso & Presto. Quantz composed the Duettos for his flute pupil Frederick the Great of Prussia. The Duettos are clearly written for players of equal ability and the alternative violins included would have been added on publication in 1759 to maximise sales.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
