This piece was inspired by the small bronze sculpture by Henry Moore titled 'Three-Way Piece'. This artwork has three similar but slightly different sides to it. This evokes a musical equivalent similar to Satie's Gymnopedies. The piece attempts to capture these concepts, for example by using the number three in various ways. This involves a predilection for three-part harmony, and an overall structure of three cycles, varied on each statement. Note: this document is the score only.
