Scored for 2 Bb & Bass Clarinets, this Trio takes the Allemande & Courante from Bach's Partita No.4.It's rhythmically and harmonically complex, but ultimately satisfying to play. In this arrangement the 1st and 2nd Clarinet parts share the melody lines, whilst the Bass Clarinet holds everything together! By the way, to avoid any confusion, the MP3 recording takes the 2nd time bars. ( A great piano recording by Glenn Gould can be found on YouTube!!)
