One of the most beautiful songs of the 80s, Please Please Please Can I Get What I Want by The Smiths has been arranged many times, and has been used in films like Ferris Bueller's Day Off.  It works very well for strings, and this arrangement lets all four members of the string quartet shine. 

This arrangement is good for an intermediate group, but watch out for tricky rhythms in the first violin part.
