Product Description

Cole Porter standard performed by Mary Martin in 1938 Broadway musical "Leave It to Me". Piano solo adheres throughout to composer's melody; suitable for sing-a-longs. Innovative combination of playful narrative with minor key and descending chromatic runs. Contrasting tempos: rhumba, swing, rubato. Use of rootless and tritone chords. Transition filler is a nod to 1953 hit by The Four Lads entitled "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)."

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
