Columba's Faith is a new Praise Song from MarieO'Reilly. It was a Commission from The Medway Singers ( in KENT UK ) and AYLESFORD PRIORY ( also in Kent UK ) for the 1997 Pilgrimage known as ROME-DERRY, to commerate 1,000 years of Christianity in England and Ireland. A special postage stamp was issued by the UK Post Office at the time ; it celebrated Saints Columcille ( in UK known as Columba ) and Augustine. The words are based on Saint Columba's writings ; it was a collaboration between MarieO'Reilly and Doreen Jansen. This setting is for SATB and Piano accompaniment.
