This theatre piece for solo trombone was commissioned as a birthday present and includes precisely 100 notes in each of three movements, fifty for each birthday and fifty for the future. Each movement represents a different stage of a triathlon.

The performer should perform each movement in a different space on the stage, as far apart as possible. The performer wears a different prop for each movement - swim goggles, a bicycle helmet, and a runner number - and must move as quickly as possible from movement to movement, changing props during the transitions.
