This piece is the first of a set of tuneful solo piano pieces I have written, aimed at the skills of the intermediate pianist. I expect to be adding to this set for some time to come. I call this album, "Songs With a Hint of Words," because I have chosen all the titles to inspire a little meditation on some compelling aspect of life, love, and the cosmos. For those who have treasured Felix Mendelssohn's collection of "Songs Without Words," my album's title may win a smile at the fond wink I give here to the ghost of Felix.
