Product Description

Score & Parts Formated 8.5 X 11
Somewhere Along The Way Producer John Hammond specifically asked me for this arrangement because he believed, and rightfully so, that Bills appeal to the general public would be American popular song ballad features highlighting his phenomenal dynamic range. Im sure he had Nat King Coles hit in mind and the chart pretty much wrote itself. This is the original arrangement from the original score with all of the flute parts included which were cut, for whatever reason, from the final mix. Bucket muted trumpets can be substituted for Flugels and Ive added a hard ending instead of a board fade for performance purposes. The original recording version can be replicated... just tacit the flutes where necessary or if youre ambitious, transpose the flutes for saxes and/or clarinets.
Additional Scores formatted 11 X 17 & 8.5 X 14 Are Availabe In A Separate Category
(Ensemble: Score Only (reference score without parts for Orchestra, Band, Ensemble)
