Product Description
Have you ever been frustrated by trying to play Bachs Prelude in C (from the well tempered clavier) on the guitar? As he wrote it for keyboard, its not surprising that it doesnt quite work, I suppose. Well, after many years of wanting to play it on my guitar, I have realised that unless I learn to play the lute or get a 10 string guitar, its not going to happen. The keyboard version is so beautiful that it doesnt need any alteration, but I have always felt that it should work on guitar, somehow or other.
Heres my way of putting things right; a version for guitar, that allows the bass strings to ring on, all the way through.
The chords are very different from Bachs in many places, but it has the same format and rhythm (right to the end), so I have given it the title Bachs Harp, as a tribute to the great man and his wonderful music. Please listen to the recording if youd like to hear it.
