Product Description

Sinfonia #5 (BWV 791) from Johann Sebastian Bach's Three Part Inventions, arranged for Horn and Viola.

Bach's Three Part Inventions were originally composed for keyboard as part of a set of 15 unique pieces. This particular Sinfonia lends itself well to arrangement with horn and viola due to each voice's melodic style. The piece has been transposed up a tone (from Eb for F Major) which suits the horn and viola better. Most of the viola part has been lowered by an octave to better fit its expressive range.
