This is the 6th in the series of pretty, technical exercises for the emerging flutist. Letter A is the melody and letter B is a duet part for you to play with your friends. Letters C and D are technical exercises of arpeggios and scales. Letter E lets you practice double tonguing. Letter F is long phrases and if you wanted to treat them as long tones it is even better! Letter G lets you practice beginning trill fingering, particularly that tricky alternate fingering between middle d and e.

I think this is a lovely song and I find that it stays in my ear and I 'hear' it in my mind's ear throughout the day. It's lovely.
