SYMPHONY in E MINOR 3rd MOVEMENT THIRD MOVEMENT As far as we know, this is the only symphony composed in Africa. It requires a standard orchestra. It could be played by an average amateur group. This movement is unique in effect, quirky, very reedy and with a prominent syncopated drumbeat which continues behind the exuberant triplety melody. All the delightful inventiveness we have come to expect in Ted Moon's work. Again, there is a hint of darkness. Look at the other three movements, too: majestic, melodic, inventive, vivacious and noble.
