FOR THE STUDENT
Here is a fun piece that I am sure you will enjoy learning and playing. The word BLUE in the title is because some of the notes perhaps are not quite right and out of tune. I personally don't mind the blue notes at all. You might find the blue notes a bit strange. See if you can find the wrong notes to point out to the teacher.
If you are learning harmony with your teacher, print out an extra copy and write the names of the the chords in the left hand.
When you have learnt the piece and performed it well make sure that your teacher fills out the colorful CONGRATULATIONS certificate so that you can print it and show it to your friends.
The piece was written for my nephew Hugh who played it in an eisteddfod. You might be able to play the piece in a competition.
Have fun in learning this piece and above all enjoy your music making.
NOTES TO THE TEACHER
I have purposely not added fingering because there are many different fingering possibilities depending on the student's technical skills, age and finger stretch.
