This little suite is written for early intermediate students, especially with older teens and adults in mind. Each individual movement could be learned on its own, or the student can learn all three for a special recital piece or simply for personal enjoyment. This piece includes several components that I like to have incorporated into student pieces at this level: meter change, clef change, grace notes, accidentals, chord progressions, interesting rhythmic changes. A challenging, but still accessible piece for a teen or adult to work on, especially during the summer.
