Movement 2 from "Uncle John's Sketchbook". Uncle John's old music sketchbook was passed to me in the early 1990s, and it contains a small number of early sketches of musical ideas. In 2011 I turned the first of them into a short late-romantic-style nocturne (the period of music I always associated with him), and this is the second - a march.
