Plaisir D'Amour is a french song which was written in 1784.  It was the basis of the very big Elvis Presley song Can't Help falling in love.  A great song to learn especially if you have french friends.  They all now the words to the song and love the song.  The lyrics are "The pleasure of love last a short time, but the pain of love lasts a life time."  And that was written in 1784!
