Product Description

Jock-a-mo - for Flexible Duo (C, Eb, Bb & Bass Clef Instruments).  By James Crawford, Jr.  Arranged by Scott Grimaldi.  Jock-a-mo (originally named Chock-a-mo) was recorded and released in 1953 by James "Sugar Boy" Crawford and his Cane Cutters.  It is a combination of two different Indian chants, "Iko Iko" & "Jock-a-mo", set to music.  A New Orleans favorite, Jock-a-mo (often referred to as Iko Iko) is played during Mardi Gras (which means "Fat Tuesday" in French).  Includes a title page, instrumentation page, score & set of parts.  14 pages.  Duration: 1:30 min.  This arrangement allows for various instrumental duo combinations.  Create a musical duo by combining any instrument from Part 1 & any instrument from Part 2.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
