Product Description

This is the very emotive "Solace" by Scott Joplin. Originally for piano, this arrangement is carefully scored for clarinet quartet (three Bb soprano clarinets and one Bb bass clarinet). This is a wonderful piece for both concert and contest. This is arranged within the comfortable playing range of the instruments, in a common keysign, with technical considerations worked out and with many useful rehearsal numbers for easy preparation. With attention to the rubato character of the piece, this is a highly expressive piece and very suitable for clarinet quartet.
