Angels uses a consistent 3-against-2 rhythm throughout, three quarter-notes in the left, and two dotted quarters in the right. Three-note chords in the left hand, and two and three-note chords in the right. The harmony changes with the melody, unlike some others in the set, which use a static accompaniment. The carol can be repeated as many times as desired, and it is pitched in a key that the average voice can sing, solo or ensemble. MBB
