At first glance, one might think that this hymn is about heaven, in the traditional sense of the word. However, a closer examination reveals that it is about socio-economic justice orif you preferthe Kingdom of God, and the Christians role in bringing it to fruition. I'll leave it to the professional theologians to debate whether this is the "city built foursquare" that John described in Revelations. ;-)
