Product Description

"Billie's Bounce" (also known as "Bill's Bounce") is a jazz composition written in 1945 by Charlie Parker in the form of a 12 bar F blues. This arrangement provides room for students to improvise over the basic be-bop blues changes. There is a solo section, where a sample solo is provided in the first violin part. However, students should attempt to launch their own solos incorporating the simple G blues scale.  G, Bb, C, Db, D, F, G. These notes will fit with all the chords of the G blues.
