Product Description

The composer has a fondness for black cats and named her own black cats after dances that reflect their character. This piece was inspired by one of her cats who was very aptly named Tango. This arrangement is for: Clarinet 1 &/OR Flute 1 (Level 3), Clarinet 2 &/OR Flute 2 (Level 2.5), Clarinet 3 (Level 1.5), Clarinet 4 (Level 1.5), Clarinet 5 (Level 1.5), Bass Clarinet (Level 1.5). The Clarinet 4 and Clarinet 5 parts are entirely below the break. Alternate lower notes are given where the Bass Clarinet crosses the break. The glissando indications are intended to provide a "meow"-like effect. Chromatic fingering is recommended. Trills (purring) should start on the written note and use the next diatonic note above. If there is only one player per part, use the lower note where two notes are given. The Flute parts are not shown on the score, but are included in this set.
