Product Description
Who would have thought you could play classical music on a
ukulele? But you can!
Here are Seventy-five compositions of the Late Renaissance, Volume 3 of 3, from Elias Mertel. The
compositions in these three volumes are all Preludes collected by Mertel who
was perhaps the best-known German lutenist of his day transcribed for tablature
and in modern notation.
These pieces have been transcribed for the baritone ukulele,
the four-course Renaissance guitar, or
low G ukulele (just use the tablature but substitute G-C-E-A for D-G-B-E
where indicated). Most are also playable on the soprano and tenor
ukulele and, of course, for the guitar. Have
fun!
