"The Old Music Box" is among Sarah's earliest pieces, composed in 2001. Though not having grown up with a piano in the home, when Sarah was younger she would steal away while on visits to her grandparents' into the "music room" to invent melodies on her grandmother's hundred-year-old, upright piano. This tune was a favorite miniature that she would play every chance she got. The recording of this work, found on the 2013 album "A Personal Echo" (http://sarahwallinhuff.bandcamp.com/track/the-old-music-box), is performed by Wallin Huff on the very same, cherished old piano.
