Product Description

This overture was written by Schubert when he was 18 years old, it is however, a mature sounding work. As with most orchestral transcriptions for quintet, every instrument is busy all the time causing a challenge in breathing and stamina. A version for reed quintet is also available from sheetmusicplus.com. The clarinet part is for clarinet in A, but a Bb alternative is also included for those who prefer sharps.
