A simple setting of this pretty carol forclarinet quintet. Each verse the pitch goes up by a tone until the final verse which returns to the original key. Everybody except the Bass has a go at the melody and each verse is harmonised in a different syle.

Verse 1 is a solo for Eb clarinet, Verse 2 is a duet for Eb and clarinet 3. Verse 3 adds the 1st clarinet and Bass, Verse 4 is the first verse with all instruments playing. Verse 5 is a trio for clarinets 1, 2, and 3 . Verse 6 uses all instruments for the finale.

This is a very simple arrangement and should be playable by any standard of ensemble.
