Product Description
This is an original flute trio, arranged for 3 Oboes or 2 Oboes and Cor Anglais. The music is entirely derived from the
opening motif, which occurred to me on the date of my civil partnership
anniversary (11 years).
It's a simple ditty, but I wanted to try
to test the strengths of the players. The parts all cover a wide range,
and the players need to be able to sustain the rhythmic pulse in 6/8.
Although
the tempo is marked <dotted q>=110, it can be played up to 10 BPM
faster or slower, depending on the skill of the ensemble.
This would make a great addition to a recital programme or a spring or summer concert.
There are versions of this trio for Flutes, Strings, Bb Clarinets, A Clarinets, Oboes, Bassoons and Horns.
Other combinations can be made by request.
