The choir sing verse 3 on their own with some expressive harmonies to paint the text. This can be heard in the digital sound file. The organ joins at the end of verse 3 to lead the congregation and choir into the fourth verse. The choir also have simple harmonies in verse 2 and the sopranos have some descant in verses 1 and 4. The organ part is not complicated yet supports the congregation and choir. Ideal for performance in church services and collegiate chapels during the Christmas holiday season.
