Product Description

Himan Lane was written for the City of Bristol Brass Band in memory of one of it's supporters, Ian Hamlen. The title is an anagram of his name. His favourite piece of music was Pictures At An Exhibition, particularly The Great Gate of Kiev. This piece is loosely based on this last movement and the Promenade. It is firmly placed in the British Brass Band 19th Century tradition, and would make a wonderful addition to any concert. I do hope you enjoy playing it, or even just listening to the rendition on SMP
