This Multi Level arrangement of Baby, Its Cold Outside is fresh, fun take on this Female/Male vocal duet- no politics here. Written in the key of C, its just a little bit more accessible than the duet version already available. Loads of options here:
- Use all 6 parts for a Full ensemble.
- Pianist 1 can be a Solo or a Duet with Pianist 2 or 4.
- Pianist 2 can be a recital Solo: with or without Teacher Accompaniment.
- Pianist 3 & 4 can be an independent Duet.
- Teacher Accompaniment can be added with any part.
Short on pianos? You only need 2 pianos: Pianist 1 & 2 on one and Pianist 3 & 4 on the other.
You Gotta Know the Score:
Elementary (Pianist 1) is never asked to move hand positions, the rhythm is easily taught by rote, since its the Female melody, doubled with Pianist 2 & 3.
Late Elementary (Pianist 2) Recital Solo which includes Female melody in the Right Hand, and the Male melody in the Left Hand. Includes triplets.
Early Intermediate (Pianist 3- Primo) Lets mix it up! The Female melody is the Left Hand so the Right hand can aid with accompaniment figures when the Pianist 4 has the Male melody.
Intermediate (Pianist 4-Secondo) Love this part! Lots of jazzy chords + the Male melody. This one is so fun to play!
Teacher Accompaniment (only background) bonus!
Great to use as a closer for recital!
