Always (1925) was a wedding gift presented to Berlin's second wife, Ellin Mackay. (He was only married to his first wife, Dorothy Goetz, for six months before she died of typhoid Fever contracted on their honey moon.) This woodwind trio arrangement can be performed with 2 C Instruments (2 flutes or 2 Oboes or Flute and Oboe) and Bb Clarinet or Bassoon or Bb Bass Clarinet.
