Product Description
Never Cry Wolf a Childrens Musical for ages 5-14. Itis a retelling of the Aesop Fable "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." Set in Ancient Greece, the story revolves around Alec, the boy who would just rather goof off all the time. The people around him would like him to learn to work and always be sincere. They show him that everybody works. This play has many opportunities for study of the culture of ancient Greece -- from learning about the political origins of democracy to women's work of spinning and weaving. And don't forget the cute factor of having some little children portray the sheep. The Production Kit (27 pages) contains a reproducible Booklet script and Song Sheets, a coloring activity page, and Performance License for one series of shows.
Additional: The Director's Script (44 pages) contains suggestions for staging, costuming, choreography, set designs, and Acting Games and the Piano/VocalScore downloadable in two groups: Part 1 (46 pages) and Part 2 (45 pages) are valuable production guides and should be purchased and downloaded separately. Individual accompaniment MP3 files of the songs may be purchased separately from SMP Press.
