A simple, straight-forward arrangement of the chorus of this great
American song, arranged for instrumental ensemble. The format includes four basic parts, plus an optional fifth part. Optional parts for keyboard/rhythm and percussion are included. Parts are provided for C instruments, B-flat, etc., so that they can be used by various ensemble combinations, such as a brass quartet or quintet, a saxophone quartet or quintet, a string ensemble, or a larger group of mixed instruments..
The arrangement may be performed by instruments alone, or by instruments accompanying a choir and/or congregation or group singing.
