Product Description

Four Country Dances for Two French Horns is a set of four democratic duets for horns (democratic meaning that both parts equally share melody, accompaniment, and level of difficulty.)  It was written during a time when I was playing and arranging a lot of Swiss music for weddings, funerals, and receptions (the Imperial Valley, where I live, having a large Swiss farming community).  As a French horn player in my youth, I always loved folk-like horn-call duets with their Major Sixths ascending to Perfect Fifths and continuing to Major Thirds. This work is reminiscent of those thousands of horn calls.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
